What is BAMS Events Group & Core Values

BAMS UK is a close-knit community entirely managed by dedicated volunteers and administrators. Our primary hub for daily communication, event alerts, and community announcements is our private WhatsApp group: BAMS UK Events.

To keep our community safe and family-friendly, access to the WhatsApp group is coordinated by our admins. You can easily get in touch with us to be added in one of three ways:

  1. Social Media: Send a direct message to our admins via our official Facebook or Instagram pages.
  2. Referral: Ask an existing friend or family member within BAMS UK to refer you to a group administrator.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family into our fold.

BAMS core values

  • One BAMS community of volunteers practicing Dhamma and Babasaheb’ teaching together
  • Gender, Age & Location Diversity in all aspects of Events : planning, participation and  execution
  • Treat people with respect and dignity.
  • Family friendly and Non political posts welcome
  • Community interest over personal interests
  • Give back to society
  • Pass on core values to younger generation

Being part of the group one is agreeing to the core value of the group.

Harmonious Environment & Group Focus

Our collective peace and focus are very important to us. To maintain a supportive and calm space for everyone, we kindly ask all members to avoid disruptive behavior or arguments. If a situation arises that takes away from this positive environment, the admin team may remove posts or have conversation with that member to protect the group’s harmony. In circumstances where the group admin finds a member in violation of the values and principles as agreed then the admin has the right to remove that member.

An Open Choice

We truly value everyone’s time and energy. If you ever feel that your personal views do not align with these guidelines, or if you prefer a different space, you are completely free to leave the group at any time with our very best wishes.

Moving Forward Together

Let’s use this platform constructively to grow, learn, and strengthen our community bond. Your presence here reflects your respect for our shared mission. Let’s keep our energy pure, dignified, and focused.

Thank you for your cooperation and unwavering commitment to the Dhamma.
